Nintendo Switch

If you’ve been so eager to play Super Mario Odyssey that you find yourself throwing you hat at random passers-by, don’t worry. Nintendo is bringing the pudgy plumber’s upcoming Switch debut, along with some other big games, to the show floor at San Diego Comic-Con.

Fans will be able to get their hands on Odyssey, the game that stole the show at this year’s E3, as well as the surprisingly good-looking Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle. Fans can get an early look at Pokkén Tournament DX and play Splatoon 2 just ahead of the latter game’s release.

Nintendo’s full line-up includes a few other Switch games that have already been released, as well as some content from third-party developers. The Nintendo 3DS line isn’t forgotten, either, with Hey! Pikmin and some older games arriving on the floor. If you’re wondering why some of these older titles are display, they’re for a multi-game competition called the Play Nintendo Challenge, which attendees can participate in throughout the course of the Comic-Con.

Here’s the full list.

Emma’s early gaming was mostly done in secret, as the only gamer in a family of normal people. She still retains skills from this dark period in her life, such as the ability to teleport instantly across the house away from the computer, and holds a gold medal in the Olympic sport of “Hide the Gameboy.” Sorry, Mom, now you know. Another chance to play Super Mario Odyssey before launch is coming soon

Can't wait until this fall to take a trip to New Donk City? Another public hands-on is happening very soon.
