Assassin's Creed III

THE BUZZ: Yesterday, an image of what claimed to be the main character from Assassin’s Creed III appeared online (see above). Now it appears that Game Informer has jumped the gun on another image.

The image (below), snapped by a NeoGAF poster, features an assassin in battle alongside George Washington with an American flag in the background. It also refers to the Assassin’s Creed III “hub,” which is something Game Informer creates each month to coincide with its cover story.

Adding up the information we have received so far, along with the leaked pictures and the promise of a major announcement on Monday, it looks like we’re going to get a reveal for the game and a load of exclusive info coming from Game Informer.

EGM’s TAKE: Well how about that, not only have we got a massive shot of the new assassin but also one to showcase the setting. It’s like Christmas. Again the character is pretty much hidden behind his little hood piece, but the setting of the American Revolution seems pretty clear cut. The question is can Ubisoft keep the announcement a secret until March 5?
