THE BUZZ: Sony has been doing an interesting test of sorts lately by releasing games with reversible cover artwork featuring more artistic (and less store shelf-friendly) second covers for consumers to choose from.

After The ICO & Shadow of the Colossus Collection and Resistance 3, Sony today announced their third PlayStation 3 release to feature such a cover: Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One. Here’s the game’s second optional cover:

EGM’s TAKE: I absolutely love stuff like this, even if I’m not always the biggest fan of the reversible cover itself. Give players the choice to adorn their game cases with more meaningful visuals, versus those simply crafted to entice people to buy the game when browsing the local shopping emporium!

THE BUZZ: Sony has been doing an interesting test of sorts lately by releasing games with reversible cover artwork featuring more artistic (and less store shelf-friendly) second covers for consumers to choose from.
