The Anthem details continue to pour out of developer Bioware, with the most recent revelation pertaining to the game’s level cap.
A fan recently inquired on Twitter about how level caps will work in Anthem. Executive producer Mark Darrah explained that Bioware is not fully detailing the game’s leveling system just yet, but he did confirm that the game will start with a hard level cap that will increase over time as new content is introduced. With such a limitation, it remains to be seen how long it will take to reach said cap, as well as how the game will incentivize players to continue playing after it is reached.
We will be talking about this in more detail later but there is a hard level cal that will change over time in the service https://t.co/KX0sOqeMEU

Just two days prior to this tweet, Darrah answered another question on Twitter about the game’s flight mechanic. Fans already knew from Anthem‘s recent gameplay demo that waterfalls could cool down a player’s jet boosters, allowing them to fly for extended periods, but Darrah revealed that rain could serve the same purpose.
Anthem is slated to launch February 22nd on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. EA/Origin Access members will get to enjoy a trial of the game early on February 15th, while those subscribed to the newly announced Origin Access Premier tier can enjoy the full game on that date.
