Not long after Anthem‘s story trailer debuted at The Game Awards 2018, another trailer has surfaced to highlight the game’s Legion of Dawn, followed by a progression-themed developer livestream.
The Legion of Dawn is an order of Freelancers that was born from a breaking point in humanity’s history on the host planet of Anthem. Through the bravery of the Legion’s founder, General Helena Tarsis, humanity survived, and it is her sacrifice that is celebrated in the new trailer.
Her sacrifice can be further honored with the game’s Legion of Dawn Edition, which offers exclusive Legion of Dawn armor packs and weapon, as well as access to the game’s VIP demo. The new trailer and Legion of Dawn Edition content can be checked out below.
If this General’s name sounds familiar, it’s because the game’s city of Tarsis is the namesake of the General. Fans can get a better look at the characters that live within this city’s walls from the game’s recent story trailer.
For those more interested in mechanics than story, developer Bioware recently hosted a livestream in which it dived deep into the game’s progression and character building. The stream, which is fairly lengthy, was helpfully captured by YouTuber Arekkz.
Anthem is slated to launch February 22nd on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, dropping one week early for EA/Origin Access members.
