Following hitting the 10 million players milestone last week, Respawn Entertainment’s free-to-play battle royale game Apex Legends has now reached 25 million players, with a peak of “well over” 2 million concurrent players.

“Since we launched Apex Legends last week on Monday we’ve seen the creation of an Apex Legends community that is excited, thriving, and full of great feedback and ideas,” CEO Vince Zampella wrote. “Our goal is to build this game with you, our community, so keep giving us your feedback because we really are listening.”

“I can’t tell you everything we have planned, and we are looking at changes based on player feedback and experiences,” he added.

Zampella went on to tease some upcoming content for the game by revealing that new limited-time Valentine’s Day-themed loot will be made available later this week. Also on the way is the game’s first official season, which is due to get underway in March and will introduce the Battle Pass, as well as new Legends, weapons, loot, and more.

Apex Legends is available now as a free download on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
