Prey

A small update has been released for Prey that appears to be continuing the tease of DLC for the game.

The update in question added 10 hidden achievements to the game that each contain one word. When put together, the list reads “If you believed they put a man on the moon.” This a reference to a song by R.E.M. and is also another mention of the moon, which has featured heavily in previous teases.

For those of you who have not been following the Prey DLC saga. Things kicked off when the official Prey Twitter account posted a GIF of the moon along with the question “Do we really know what’s out there?” This was followed up by another teaser image that showed protagonist Morgan Yu standing in a space station with the surface of the moon outside the window. Finally, Arkane tweeted out an image of the Prey development team that featured a hidden date of June 10th, the same day that Bethesda will be holding its E3 press conference.

The big question is whether this will be an add-on for the existing game or standalone DLC like Dishonored’s Death of the Outsider.

Bethesda’s E3 2018 Showcase will take place on June 10th at 6:30 p.m. PT.

Prey released last year for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
