Assassin’s Creed 3 Tomahawk Replica Is 40 Bucks, A Little Too Realistic

Cosplay events and gaming conventions are going to need special bulletin notices for anyone dressing up as Assassin’s Creed 3 hero Connor Kenway. Now, the main character’s trademark tomahawk is available for just about anyone to purchase, as long as they have access to a credit card and impulsive shopping habits.
Good idea or bad idea? Well, at 40 bucks, it’s not the safest thing to buy.
At least GameStop’s AC2 Gauntlets are made of plastic.
Initially available at the “Deals Only” web store (now out of stock), the 17.5-inch weapon is slightly more expensive at Hanzo Swords, where it seems to fit right alongside the dozens and dozen of other blades marketed straight at cosplayers, grown men still living with their parents, and Civil War reenactment groups.
Although the product description says it’s perfect for cosplay and costumes, it’s still probably not a good idea to actually use or carry it in public. I’m sure that your local police won’t be too thrilled when you explain it’s just a “pretend” assassin’s outfit.
