Ubisoft has confirmed that a new Assassin’s Creed novel will follow the release of Assassin’s Creed III, which will flesh out the back story of Connor.

Titled Assassin’s Creed: Forsaken, the novel is written by Oliver Bowden and tells, “the story behind who Connor really is and how he has become a deadly killer.” The novel is due out December 4 and will cost $9.99.
