Assassin’s Creed III Has Online Co-Op
Posted on March 6, 2012 AT 06:51am
THE BUZZ: The newly revealed Assassin’s Creed III will feature online co-op for up to four players.
That’s according to Microsoft’s Xbox.com page for the game, which details online features.
Online co-operative play for two-to-four players is mentioned along with standard eight-player multiplayer, as seen in previous titles.
EGM’s TAKE: Could this be some kind of mission mode similar to Red Dead Redemption or will players actually be able to join you in your campaign? We think that assassin missions that require multiple target take-downs would actually be pretty fun. We could see co-op working in certain situations. We’re thinking separate missions would be better, as we don’t want people in our game world messing things up.
