Assassin’s Creed III Multiplayer Being Developed By Ubisoft Annecy

THE BUZZ: It has been revealed that Assassin’s Creed III’s multiplayer component is being developed by Ubisoft Annecy.

The Twitter profile of Tim Browne, Lead Game Designer on Assassin’s Creed 3 Multiplayer, confirms that the Ubisoft division is once again in charge.

Annecy worked on the multiplayer portions of both Brotherhood and Revelations.

EGM’s TAKE: Fans can rest easy knowing that the multiplayer component for Assassin’s Creed III is in safe hands. Both previous games have been met with plenty of praise, so you can expect no less of the team this time out. Annecy will be looking to add a number of new features to incorporate those added to the single-player, as well as a number of new maps for the various new locations in Assassin’s Creed III. We’re anxious to see what the team has done.
