Assassin’s Creed III PC Shipment Stolen
Posted on November 22, 2012 AT 02:37am

A truck carrying copies of Assassin’s Creed III bound for Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg has been stolen.
Dutch site EB is reporting the theft of shipments bound for all three countries. All three of the countries’ shipments were all being transported on the same truck which was reported stolen on November 14.
Ubisoft has stated that this won’t affect the title’s launch in these countries as copies will be sourced from elsewhere, however anyone who pre-order a copy of the Join or Die Edition will be unable to receive it as certain items inside it are now unobtainable by Ubisoft, making re-manufacturing impossible.
The publisher has passed the serial numbers of all the stolen copies to retailers and placed these numbers on a blacklist preventing online authentication.
