Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag‘s downloadable content won’t be coming to Wii U, an Ubisoft representative informed GamesBeat.
Ubisoft detailed ACIV‘s DLC Tuesday, which includes “Freedom Cry,” a single-player adventure starring Edward Kenway’s second-in-command, Adewale, and the Kraken Ship Pack multiplayer add-on. Black Flag‘s DLC will be available as individual purchases or through a season pass priced at $19.99, which Ubisoft says is a 20 percent savings compared to purchasing the add-ons individually.
A trailer for “Freedom Cry” was posted alongside the DLC and season pass announcement.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag launches on PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U October 29 in North America, November 1 in Europe (though the Wii U version won’t be available in Europe until November 22). The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions will be available as launch titles on November 15 (November 29 in Europe) and November 22 respectively. The Windows PC version will be available on November 19 as well (again, November 22 in Europe).
