Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be releasing this October and will also find its way onto next generation consoles, according to a quickly edited page on Ubisoft’s official website.
The game will be available from October 29, 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PC, and Wii U, there was also another message reading, “also coming to next-gen consoles.” Ubisoft officially announced Black Flag yesterday following several leaks.
This news comes via a countdown page on Ubisoft’s website which is preparing for the full official unveiling on Monday. The page was quickly edited and re-upped without the release date or mention of next-gen, but Gaming Everything managed to get a screen capture of it before it went down–it contained an Assassin’s Creed III trailer as a placeholder at the time.
According to yesterday’s official announcement, PlayStation 3 players will get 60 minutes of exclusive gameplay.
