If you fancy playing Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag‘s fleet management mini-game then you are going to need the game’s online pass.

Kenway’s Fleet is the latest version of the franchise’s resource management mini-game, which has been present since Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. Basically it’s a mode where you send recruited assassins off on missions based on a risk vs. reward system.

This time you’ll be sending ships out to various parts of the world. A new currency called gems, which can be spent to help missions succeed, has been added, and players can choose to get involved in missions by manually initiating battles along risky trade routes.

To play Kenway’s Fleet you will have to have an online pass and be connected to Ubisoft’s Uplay servers, without these two things the mode is inaccessible.
