Ubisoft has released a trio of images for Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD, which compare the game’s newly upgraded visuals to its original Vita release.

The images showcase the graphical overhaul that the game has undergone during its transition to the big screen, with sharper textures, improved lightning, and improved character models. Ubisoft has previously announced that Liberation HD will also include a reworked campaign and several new bonus missions.

Assassin’s Creed: Liberation HD is set to release January 15 via the Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and Steam for $19.99.
