Assassin’s Creed Movie Releasing Next Year
Posted on November 12, 2012 AT 02:25am

We all know that an Assassin’s Creed movie is in the works starring Michael Fassbender, but what nobody is sure of is how long we’re going to have to wait to see it, until now that is.
Ubisoft’s chief sales and marketing officer Geoffroy Sardin has suggested in a recent interview that the fast-tracked film could see a release next year. “Another thing that is very important for the lifecycle is the transmedia offer. All the figurines, the books, the publishing, and we have a movie in the next coming year. So it’s not only about games, we are talking about a global brand, and this is the life cycle management we want to set up now,” he told GameIndustry.biz.
Now although he said it’s releasing within the next year this doesn’t necessarily mean 2013 it could also point to a fiscal year 2013/14 release, meaning a release in early 2014 could also be on the cards. I can’t wait to see how this film turns out, the most intriguing part is which part of the universe they choose to use. Will we see a new assassin? When will it be set? So many questions.
Which time period should the film be set in? Are you excited to see it? Share your thoughts below.
