Assassin's Creed

We’ve known for a while that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey lets players choose whether to play as a male or female character. Now, with Ubisoft bringing new material to Gamescom, players have a choice of whether they want to watch the game’s latest trailer with a male or female protagonist as well.

The minute and a half long trailer has two different versions, both uploaded to Ubisoft’s YouTube page. The content, music, and voiceover of both trailers are the same, but one stars female protagonist Kassandra while the other features male protagonist Alexios.

Both Kassandra and Alexios start the game as Spartan mercenaries sentenced to death. Of course, they won’t be outcasts for long before rising up to challenge the legendary creatures, shadowy cults, and other enemies that threaten Ancient Greece.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey releases on October 5th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
