Assassin's Creed

As one player recently discovered, taking on the toughest enemy in Assassin’s Creed Origins using the weakest weapon takes about as long as you’d expect.

The masochist in question is YouTuber SPGamer, who took over ten minutes to punch a war elephant to death. If the sheer size of the animal didn’t pose enough of a challenge, the player also turned the difficulty up to Hard. In the elephant’s defense, SPGamer had a Master Warrior rank of 31—meaning they do 31 percent more melee damage than normal—but that’s not to say this isn’t an impressive feat of endurance.

The animal can be fought in the game’s story campaign, wielded by one of the campaign’s Targets, but the beast can also be found at one of the game’s discoverable locations, located in the top right corner of the Herakleion Nome region.

In other Origins news, an unintentional feature that allowed certain players to adjust Bayek’s hairstyle has recently been made official.
