Assassin's Creed

Assassin’s Creed: Origins is more far more of a RPG than previous installments, and with this new direction comes a new skill tree for a variety of player specialization.

As in other popular RPGs, the skill tree is divided into different branches built around specific specializations or playstyles—in this case, three of them. The Warrior branch focuses on strength and melee combat, the Hunter branch covers ranged combat and the player’s spotting eagle, and the Seer branch enhances the player’s proficiency in diversion and evasion.

GameSpot managed to grab numerous screenshots of Origins‘ skill tree branches, showing the different skill paths players can take. The full set of unlockable abilities can be checked out at GameSpot, but we’ve got a little taste for you below:

Assassin’s Creed: Origins is slated to launch October 27th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The game was first revealed in Microsoft’s E3 2017 press briefing, during which its first gameplay was shown off.
