THE BUZZ: Ubisoft has launched the Mediterranean Traveler Pack map pack for Assassin’s Creed Revelations on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC.
The map pack introduces six new maps, three new and three from Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. The official description reads:
Players can journey to the majestic holy city of Jerusalem, the opulent imperial district of Constantinople and the colourful mercantile district of Dyers. Fans of the franchise can also revisit favourite Italian Renaissance maps from Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood specifically requested by Assassin’s Creed players to be included in the pack. To start, players will explore the historic city of Firenze (Florence), then travel to the mountains of San Donato and visit night-time Siena with its carnival lights, talented performers and deadly hiding spots.
The DLC will set you back 800 Microsoft Points or $9.99.
EGM’s TAKE: Fans will be pleased to see some favorites from the Brotherhood making a return, however haven’t we reached a point where all previous maps could be made to work with new versions of the game, especially paid DLC. All three of the new maps appear to follow the same pattern as those already available with stunning visuals and discrete, deadly hiding spots. At least the three Brotherhood maps have had a little tweaking done to them such as new weather conditions and lighting to change their atmosphere. If you;re itching for some more Revelations action then you should certainly pick this up.
