Assassin’s Creed Revelations Gets 3D Support on PlayStation 3

THE BUZZ: Sony has revealed that Assassin’s Creed Revelations will get Stereoscopic 3D support on the PlayStation 3.

A new control scheme was also mentioned which sees Eagle Vision moved to L3 so Triangle can be used for secondary weapons. It appears that Altair will mainly appear during Masyaf key retrieval, which sees him making his way through various dungeons in the game.

EGM’s TAKE: 3D support is all well and good for games — for the seven people who actually own the technology to utilize it. Seriously though, as long as it doesn’t cost more, we certainly don’t object to having the tech built in for those who have made the jump, or want to do so in the future.
