THE BUZZ: Microsoft has confirmed the official release date of the upcoming DLC for Assassin’s Creed: Revelations known as “Lost Archive.”

The DLC will be hitting Xbox Live February 28, according to a recent Marketplace update post. We assume that it will release for PlayStation 3 and PC around this time too. Developer Ubisoft is yet to officially announce the DLC, but details were leaked by GameStop last week.

Based on the achievements included in the DLC, it seems to revolve around the game’s modern day protagonists Desmond Miles as he makes his way through a series of new missions.

EGM’s TAKE: It’s nice to see some single-player love for Revelations after numerous multiplayer DLC packs. The only problem is that it really adds nothing to the story. By the looks of the content it also appears to be very short. But let’s face it, we’re all more interested in Assassin’s Creed 3 since it’s been officially confirmed. Let the hype train begin!
