A remastered edition of Assassin’s Creed Rogue- that we all saw coming- has finally been announced.
In a post on the official Assassin’s Creed Twitter account, Assassin’s Creed Rogue Remastered was announced for a March 20th release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The tweet includes a teaser trailer for the remaster, depicting the frozen wilds in which players will hunt down members of the Assassin Order.

In addition to the game, the remaster includes all of the title’s previous DLC, as well as a new Assassin’s Creed Origins–themed outfit. The game will also feature 4K support on the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.
The reveal of an Assassin’s Creed Rogue remaster isn’t exceedingly surprising, considering the evidence that surfaced about the game’s existence over recent months. It started with several Italian retailers leaking release dates for the game, followed by a Korean Ratings Board submission for the title.
Assassin’s Creed Rogue originally launched as a last-gen answer to the current-gen exclusivity of Assassin’s Creed Unity. Now that it is joining its brethren on more modern technology, early console adopters will get the chance to fill this hole in their Assassin’s Creed history.
