Yes, I just wrote “Atlus” and “shooter” in the same sentence. Yes, it’s for real—and coming to PSN, XBLA, and Steam “early 2013.”

Imagine if God of War and, say, Unreal Tournament had a baby. That baby would grow up to be God Mode—described as “an homage to the retro shooters of years past.”

Basically, it’s a four-player cooperative online shooter in which you run around the Maze of Hades blowin’ stuff up while competing for loot. It is, in a word, arcade-y. It’s all about the funs.
