Atlus Officially Announces Persona 4 Fighting Game For America

THE BUZZ: We all knew it was coming, but now it’s official—the Persona 4 fighting game is making it’s way to North America soon!
EGM’s TAKE: Seriously, this isn’t a surprise at all, as there was absolutely no way Atlus wasn’t going to bring it to us. But now not only is it confirmed, but we know we’re getting it around the same time that Japan is!
Titled Persona 4 The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena in Japan, the game will go by the simpler (and more sensical to Westerners) name Persona 4 Arena. Coming this summer (that’s as specific as Atlus will be at this moment), Persona 4 Arena will be released for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and will feature console-exclusive story and online modes.
Er, just to be clear—console-exclusive versus what the arcade version contained. Not, like, certain things only on the Xbox 360 version, and certain things only on the PS3 version.
Personally, I am so hyped and ready to go for Persona 4 Arena. Can’t wait to get my hands on it!
