Avatars Escape Xbox, Show Up On Your Clothing

THE BUZZ: Microsoft and CafePress have come together to give you new options for bringing your Xbox Avatars to life.

Via a new Xbox Live CafePress mini-site, just enter in your Xbox Live gamertag – or, you know, the gamertag of somebody else, if you want to be a weirdo who wears other people’s virtual selves on their clothing – and you can pick from a wide variety of Avatar-emblazoned items. T-shirts, hoods, sweatshirts, sure—but also gym bags, water bottles, and ceramic travel mugs.

Hit the link below for the official Xbox Live CafePress mini-site.

EGM’s TAKE: While I’m not sure I feel much need to put my Xbox Avatar on such things, there’s still one nice feature of the site even if you don’t buy anything—you can pick a variety of poses for your avatar, and then get nice large-sized images (in transparent .png format, no less) of them in those poses for your own uses.
