Bandai Namco makes all your favorite anime protagonists fight in Jump Force

Bandai Namco has unveiled a new fighting game with all of your favorite characters, and it looks absolutely insane.

Today during the world premiere section of Microsoft’s E3 conference, Bandai Namco showed off Jump Force, a fighting game with most of your favorite anime characters. Featured front and center were Naruto from the eponymous Naruto, Frieza and Goku from Dragon Ball, Luffy from One Piece, and—at the very end—Light Yagami and Ryu from Death Note.

The battle/brawler game takes place in in New York City. The trailer alone is worth watching for anime fans, since you get a glimpse of all your favorite protagonists going up against one another. We’ll have to wait and see whether more shows are added to the mix—and how exactly Light’s notebook-scribbling, potato chip eating, and Death Note usage work in a standard brawl.

Jump Force is set to release in 2019. It’ll be coming to Xbox One, and likely other consoles that have yet to be announced.
