John Smedley, president of Sony Online Entertainment, has published the online handle of one Planetside 2 “scumbag” cheater in a move to deter future users.

“Haruhi at artificialaiming.com was just banned. All 3 of his accounts. Goodbye you scumbag. Find a new hobby or get good at the game,” wrote Smedley on his personal Twitter account. Planetside 2 has been taken over by cheaters using all kinds of hacks and exploits since the game launched and legitimate players are starting to get very upset about the situation.

Smedley later warned cheaters, “We have guys who’s purpose in life is to ban the bad guys and dumbasses that use hacking tools.”
