Blizzard has confirmed that Baptiste, Overwatch‘s 30th hero, will arrive on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on March 19th.

Jean-Baptiste Augustin has been on the PTR (Public Test Realm) for around two weeks and is a combat medic and ex-Talon operative who now uses his skills to help those whose lives have been impacted by war.

Baptiste uses a three-round-burst Biotic Launcher to deal damage and heal allies, and also has access to a Regenerative Burst that heals himself and allies, an Immortality Field that prevents allies from dying, and Exo Boots that allow him to jump higher when crouching.

Finally, Baptiste’s ultimate ability is the Amplification Matrix, which creates a matrix that doubles the damage and healing effects of friendly projectiles that pass through it.
