Batman: Arkham Origins won’t be coming to PlayStation 4 or Xbox One, Warner Bros. Interactive announced on the series’ official Twitter account.

This comes as something as a surprise, at least to me. I could’ve sworn when the first batch of screens were released that those were some next-gen visuals. Now, of course, I realize they were captured on a high-end PC. Still, considering how the game’s release date butts up against the PS4 and Xbox One’s release window, you’d think porting over said high-end PC build to both consoles would be something Warner Bros. would capitalize on.

Batman: Arkham Origins launches on PC, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii U October 25 alongside its PS Vita and 3DS companion game, Blackgate.
