Batman - The Telltale Series


 

Telltale Games recently revealed a trailer for the second season of its Batman series, and a couple of familiar faces from the rogue’s gallery will be seeing some interesting reinventions this time around.

Batman: The Enemy Within will pit Batman against the Riddler in a much deadlier take on the DC characters’ long-running battle of the brains. But Riddler isn’t the only villain getting the Telltale twist: John Doe is returning from the first season, and his emergence as the Joker will be directly affected by the choices you make as Batman.

Like other Telltale series, the choices you made in the previous season will be carried over into this season. However, if you never played the first Telltale Batman, don’t worry: A “story configurator” will let you simulate the choices you would have made in the first season had you played it.

The first episode of Batman: The Enemy Within will be over two hours long, and the second season will, in total, feature more puzzles and more dynamic choices than the previous season, according to the episode’s lead writer, James Windeler.
