Batman

While Telltale Games treaded carefully when talking about what?s coming for Batman: The Telltale Series during their PAX West panel, they did give fans a few dates to look forward to.

The second of the game?s five episodes?Episode 2: Children of Arkham?will be hitting worldwide on Tuesday, September 20th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Then, later this month, dates for Children of Arkham?s release on other platforms will be announced.

Then, in something of a surprise announcement for many fans, Telltale revealed that Batman: The Telltale Series will also be getting a physical release in North America?long before the series is finished. On September 13th, a special ?Season Pass Disc? will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The disc will contain the first of the game?s five episodes, then granting access to the remaining four episodes at the same time they?re released digitally.

This comes as an unexpected move for Telltale, who previously waited until each season of their episodic adventures were finished before releasing a retail version of each game. Now, fans will have more choice to experience the choices and consequences of Batman?s world in the ways that best suit their needs.

With a distinct visual style mixed together with classic Telltale adventure gameplay, Batman: The Telltale Series provides fans with a dramatic new twist on one of the most classic comic superheroes in existence. Batman features Troy Baker in the role of Bruce Wayne, Travis Willingham as Harvey Dent, Laura Bailey as Selina Kyle, Enn Reitel as Alfred Pennyworth, Murphy Guyer as Lieutenant James Gordon, Erin Yvette as Vicki Vale, Richard McGonagle as Carmine Falcone, and Jason Spisak as Oswald Cobblepot, with more characters and actors coming to the game as the season progresses.
