The Behemoth has announced that its platformer BattleBlock Theater will be available on Steam from May 15, complete with several improvements over the Xbox 360 version.

The game will be available from May 15 for $14.99, and features the ability to switch between primary and secondary weapons, new Cat Guard enemies in story mode, Steam Workshop support, Steam Inventory integration for trading items, Steam Trading Card support, and keyboard and mouse support.

However, this isn’t all the good news. Players who helped test the game during the beta phase will get the game for free. “If you were a Steam Beta Tester for us I’d like to let you know that your copy of the game will be FREE,” the developer wrote. “That’s right – Beta Testers shall get their copy for FREE! This is our way of saying thank you for helping us identify any threats.”

““Should I remember to delete the Beta before diving in to avoid any weirdness?” You ask. “Why yes, how thoughtful of you!”* I reply,” the developer added.
