Battleborn

Battleborn‘s newest healer may have just arrived to Solus, but yet another hero has already been announced.

Today, Alani?the new water-bender for Battleborn?has become available to play for those with early access. Her powers allow her to control the battlefield with massive waves and geysers, as well as heal allies. Her ultimate, Emergence, sees a water dragon erupt out of the ground to damage foes, and her passive trait, Osmosis, increases Alani’s healing after damaging enemies with her basic attack.

Hot on Alani’s heals, however, is a completely new hero for Battleborn?the reptilian assassin, Pendles. A snake-like figure with a scythe, Pendles specializes in poisoning enemies and wearing cool sneakers. While no exact timeline has been given as to when Pendles will release, Gearbox did say that it would be in the “next couple months.”

Along with the heroes a hot-fix went live, bringing with it many new skins and taunts for the game along with more boring updates. If you pay close attention, you’ll note that some of those updates are fixes to map geometry, exploits, and random balance tweaks. A full list can be found on Gearbox’s site.
