Battlefield 1‘s next expansion, In the Name of the Tsar, made an appearance at E3 2017 with its first official trailer.
The trailer depicts the frozen battlegrounds of the war’s Eastern Front, through which players will fight both the enemies and the elements. One of the new maps, Lupkow Pass, is present at the EA Play event. Apart from new maps, a number of new features will come in the expansion, such as the new spear horseback weapon.
Alongside the trailer, EA mentioned the two individual multiplayer maps coming to the game. Both maps, Nivelle Nights and Prise de Tahure, are the game’s first night-only maps, coming in June and July respectively. Players can expect a total of eight new maps for the game over the next several months.
Battlefield 1‘s In the Name of the Tsar expansion is coming to the game sometime in September, first for Premium members.
