The latest Battlefield 1 Easter egg to be discovered gives a nod to one of Disney Pixar’s most (and also least) uplifting movies.
The secret can be found in Battlefield 1‘s new They Shall Not Pass expansion on the map Verdun Heights. A video by popular Battlefield YouTuber jackfrags details how to trigger the secret, involving the destruction of several wine bottles and the pinging of a couple rooster-shaped weathervanes.
This is far from the first Easter egg to be discovered in Battlefield 1. Several secrets have already been uncovered in the new DLC, including a Dark Souls reference and a nod to a zombie mystery, but the most significant Easter egg yet found takes place in the game’s pre-expansion multiplayer, leading players on an exhaustive scavenger hunt.
Battlefield 1‘s They Shall Not Pass expansion is currently available to players with the game’s Premium Pass, but those without it will have to wait until March 28th to pick up the DLC.
