Battlefield 3: Close Quarters DLC Debut Trailer

THE BUZZ: EA has released the first gameplay trailer for the upcoming Battlefield 3: Close Quarters expansion.

The video looks at one of the four maps that will be included in the DLC, Ziba Tower, a map set in a high-rise, glass windowed building. The DLC is set to release in June and PlayStation 3 players will gain access a week early. For more details on Close Quarters and the two other expansions set to release later this year go here.

EGM’s TAKE: Well DICE wasn’t lying when they said the maps would be set in close quarts environments, Ziba Tower looks tiny compared to other Battlefield 3 maps. There’s certainly no vehicles on this map either, somehow we doubt that the tank could get in the lift. After watching the trailer we’re quite excited to finally get some real infantry action in the game. This map should also increase the pace of the game immensely similar to the inside areas of Operation metro.
