Battlefield 3 players had better get some games in this week as DICE has announced that the game will be enjoying a week long double XP event starting today.

Premium subscribers can enjoy double XP from now until next Monday, July 9, while non-subscribers can partake until this Wednesday, July 4. The event applies to all ranked matches on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Premium players have been able to earn double XP every weekend since the service launched, so if you’re looking to reach that top rank quickly then it may be worth throwing down some cash to help you along.
