Battlefield 3 Hackers Bypass Origin

By

THE BUZZ: Hacking and piracy group Razor1911 has reportedly managed to enable copies of Battlefield 3 to play online by bypassing EA’s Origin service.

DICE announced before release that players would need an Origin account in order to run even retail versions of the game. A statement by Razor1911 reads: ”This release is dedicated to our fans worldwide who bought this game on [sic] legal way and don’t want to install the trojan from Electronic Arts to play online.”

EGM’s TAKE: EA’s Origin service is not receiving much in the way of fan support since Battlefield 3 has released.
