THE BUZZ: Sure, Battlefield 3 may look like real life if your PC is powerful enough, it may allow you to blow the living hell out of any building you see, and it may offer you up awesomely brutal ways to dispatch your opponents—but does it let you drive a tank or fire a rocket launcher looking like a dinosaur?

In honor of the just-expanded Battlefield 3 beta, Battlefield Heroes is offering free B3 in-game character t-shirts, along with dinosaur heads as part of their “Spot the Dino” event.

In order to win an unlimited-duration dinosaur helmet, play Battlefield Heroes between today and Friday, run into an EA staff member wearing their own dinosaur helmet, take a screenshot, and then post the shot (along with a “funny caption”) to the official entry page (linked below).

EGM’s TAKE: I’m not quite sure what dinosaur heads have to do with Battlefield 3, but hey, I’m okay with that. The method of getting one of the helmets does seem a little obscure, however.
