Battlefield 3 – Unsuppressed Gun Fire Shows Position on Radar

THE BUZZ: It has been discovered that unsuppressed gun fire will make your position show up on the radar in the final build of Battlefield 3, something that did not occur during the beta.
In the video below at around the 3:30 mark you can see the player engage in a firefight with the enemy who is using an unsupressed weapon. As you can see from the radar in the corner his position appears whenever he fires a shot. This did not occur during the recently completely beta.
EGM’s TAKE: We think unsupressed fire appearing on the radar is a good inclusion as it means you have to be more tactical about when and where you take a shot.
