Battlefield 3

DICE has announced that the Battlefield 3 Wake Island Dog Tag Challenge will begin tomorrow across all platforms.

For those who are wondering exactly what this is, DICE has tasked Battlefield 3 players with completing 19,420 rounds of the Wake Island map on their respected platform. Upon doing so everyone on that platform will receive a brand new dog tag. The rounds will begin counting from tomorrow, September 27.

You can check out how your platform is doing over on the Battlefield Blog. Also, every month between now and the release of Battlefield 3‘s final DLC pack End Game, in March 2013, DICE will be offering up a new Dog Tag Challenge, so stay tuned for more details on those in the future.

Will you take part in the challenge? Let us know in the comments below.
