THE BUZZ: DICE’s Alan Kertz has revealed some new details regarding Battlefield 3′s destruction qualities, and also mentioned the game’s improved hit detection.
The man with all the information went onto Twitter and started throwing out details like they were candy. He mentions that Battlefield 3 will offer improved hit detection over Battlefield Bad Company 2, and should alleviate death lag. Next he moved onto the games destruction qualities, mentioning that bullets can penetrate thin metal, wood and glass.
“Thin metal, wood, glass can be shot through, brick concrete and thicker metal cannot.”
“Yes bullets can penetrate light surfaces,” he reiterated.
EGM’s TAKE: Every little detail that is revealed just makes us wish that it was October 25th already.
