Battlefield 3

THE BUZZ: DICE’s Alan Kertz confirmed today that the SCAR will be getting a slight nerf in Battlefield 3, taking the shots needed for a kill when up close from three to four.

Here’s Kertz’s Twitter statement on the nerf, coming as an answer to somebody asking if this change would be happening.

Indeed. Still will be the same in hardcore though. 3 shots.

EGM’s TAKE: Any thoughts on this? Was this a nerve that needed to happen, or do you feel that this was something done to appease players who might have been a bit too vocal in their complaints?
