DICE announced during the EA Gamescom showcase event that Battlefield 4‘s beta will begin in early October, and also offered a few details about future DLC. The beta will be available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
Battlefield Premium will include all five of the game’s planned expansion packs–with two weeks early access for each–and will set you back $50. Players also receive unique customization options, server queue priority, and 12 bonus Battlepacks.
Second Assault will be the first DLC expansion, which contains five classic Battlefield 3 maps, this will be followed by China Rising in December, Naval Strike in spring 2014, and Dragon’s Teeth and Final Stand in summer 2014.
