Battlefield 4 Naval Strike DLC now rolling out on PC

Posted on March 31, 2014 AT 04:31am

DICE has announced that Battlefield 4‘s Naval Strike DLC is rolling out on PC today, following a delay last week.

The DLC was originally set to release March 25 for Battlefield Premium members, but was delayed at the last minute due to an unexpected issue. “We have delayed the PC version of Naval Strike because we are concerned that the combination of the pack and planned PC updates would increase performance issues on mid-range to high-end PCs,” the developer explained at the time.

A new update on the official Battlefield blog reads: “Battlefield 4 Naval Strike is starting to roll out for Premium members on PC today. We look forward to seeing you on the Battlefield!”

Naval Strike adds four new nautical-based maps to the game, five new weapons, two gadgets, an amphibious hovercraft vehicle, 10 assignments, and the Carrier Assault game mode—an homage to Battlefield 2142‘s Titan mode.

Non-Premium members will get the DLC on April 8, barring any delays.
