Battlefield 4 Suffering from ‘Intermittent Connectivity Problems’ Across All Platforms

Posted on December 30, 2013 AT 11:15am

Battlefield 4 is suffering from “intermittent connectivity problems” that developer DICE is aware of and investigating, according to an update on the official Battlefield 4 forums.

“We are continuing to monitor some intermittent connectivity issues affecting some players across various platforms, “reads text pinned to the top of the official Battlefield 4 forums. “Thank you for your patience. We will update this with further information as available.”

Earlier this month, DICE released stability patches across the various platforms that Battlefield 4 is available on. According to DICE’s top issues tracker, the team is currently investigating issues of desynchronized game worlds across all platforms, a bug responsible for most of the Xbox 360 crashing, rubber banding issues across all platforms, and several other lingering issues.

It’s unclear whether this new crop of connectivity issues has anything to do with the previous problems that plagued Battlefield 4 long after its launch or, perhaps, the online services outages that hit the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on Christmas day.
