DICE has confirmed that it has delayed last week’s promised Xbox One update and will now roll all of the planned fixes into the next patch, which is expected in the next few days.
The developer originally promised an Xbox One update for the week of December 2, when it also released updates for all other platforms, but it has decided to roll all fixes into one massive patch instead. “Here’s a quick update on the state of the next Xbox One game update,” developer “Trydling” wrote on the game’s official forum.
“The update that was originally meant to go live the week of Dec 2 was delayed, but we decided to bring those fixes to the next upcoming Xbox One update.”
This new patch is currently in testing and certification and DICE hopes “to get it live late this week or early next week.” The patch focuses on “stability and some of the feedback we’ve seen from the community, including a fix for the one-hit kill bug and Commander EMP blur effect,” according to the dev.
DICE released a new patch for the PlayStation 4 version of the game yesterday that aimed to increase overall stability and reduce the chance of save file corruption occurring.
