FOX has reportedly begun work on an action comedy based on EA’s Battlefield: Bad Company franchise, now there’s something that none of you saw coming right?
According to Hollywood Deadline, Sony TV and Happy Maddison Studio are handling production with Alias writer John Eisendrath working on the script. The show will star the game’s four main characters as they exit military life and enter the private sector. EA’s Patrick Bach and Patrick O’Brien are also involved in the project.
The report adds, “Trouble is never far behind as they realize their commanding officer had used them to further the ends of a shadow unit within the government and now wants them dead to cover his tracks.”
